Founded in 1908 under the religious sponsorship of the Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville, NY, St. Agnes Academic School is a small, private Catholic college preparatory school for young women. St. Agnes is accredited by the New York State Board of Regents and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The comprehensive college preparatory curriculum is taught by a highly qualified staff of dedicated religious and lay teachers. At St. Agnes, ethnic diversity is recognized and celebrated. While classes vary in size, the average is 26 students. Enrollment is limited to no more than 500 young women. One hundred percent of our Class of 2009 graduates will go on to college or university.
