Guidance and College Counseling

The Guidance Department of St. Agnes Academic School offers the services of two certified School Counselors. As members of the educational team composed of teachers, administrators, student services staff, and parents, the school counselors work to enhance students' academic and social success.

Meeting with each student individually counselors provide students with the opportunity to discuss their educational and personal concerns. Specialized services include academic and career guidance, information and referral, crisis intervention, individual counseling, help with the college application process, and parent support and education.

Request for assignments:  Parents / guardians may call the guidance office to request assignments for students who will be absent one week or longer for medical reasons. Parents must allow several days for the work to be prepared and should arrange a time to pick up the assignments. 
 
If the student will be absent for less than one week, the student is advised to call her classmates and check the Classes / Homework section of the school's website for her homework.

SENIORS WHO WISH TO SEND AP SCORES TO THEIR COLLEGE:
AP Online Scores for Students
Students can view their AP scores and order score reports for colleges, universities, and scholarship programs online at . They will not receive paper score reports in the mail. Visit AP Online Scores for Students to learn what they need to do to be ready to get their scores in July.
The fee for score reports ordered online is $15 per report. The fee for rush processing for additional score reports ordered online is $25 per report. Standard delivery takes 7–14 business days, while rush delivery takes 5–9 business days. The exact number of days depends on when the request is submitted and the location of the score recipient.
• Important: Due to AP Exam scoring activities, rush delivery will be unavailable for score reports – whether requested online, by mail, or by fax – from mid to late June. Standard delivery may take up to 20 business days during this time.
 
OR…If students aren’t able use the online service to send scores to colleges, they can make their request by mail or fax:
Score Reports (Mail or Fax Requests)If students are unable to use the online score reporting system to send additional score reports to colleges, universities, or scholarship programs, they can mail or fax a signed, written request with payment to AP Services. Note: faxed requests must include a credit/debit card number and expiration date. Mailed requests must include a check or money order payable to AP Exams. Score reports are $15 per report and are delivered in approximately 7–14 business days. Requests for rush processing are $25 per report, and delivery takes approximately 5–9 business days.
 
Students must include the following information in their request:
• Their full name, mailing address, phone number, sex, date of birth,
AP number(s), and Social Security number (if they provided it on their answer sheet)
• The name and address of their school
• The full name of the exam(s) for which they are requesting additional score reports (e.g., "English Literature and Composition", not "English") and the year(s) they took the exam(s)
• A credit card number and expiration date, or a check or money order for the exact amount due (checks and money orders made payable to AP Exams)
• The name, city and state, and four-digit college code(s) of the college(s) to which they want to send the report
• Their signature or a signature from their parent/guardian
 
Students can order the services listed below by printing and completing the appropriate form and mailing or faxing it to AP Services with payment (if applicable):
