Media Center and Library
The school library/media center is at the service of all St. Agnes' students and faculty members. It is open daily from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm for the purpose of reading, studying, researching, and borrowing of books.

The media center services the school by providing audio and video equipment, SMART Boards, computer equipment, software, videos, and slide presentations to enrich classroom instruction. Students may, with the assistance of faculty and staff, pursue their research and study projects in the media center. The use of computers is available along with teacher/staff assistance.

  • Adjacent computer resource room with 30 state of the art networked, multimedia computers and 2 laser printers. Computers are available to students during library hours.

Internet access is available to students at the library. The Internet is used to support research and education by providing access to resources and opportunities not readily available elsewhere. Word processing programs as well as other computer applications for student use are also available at the library.

Our policy is that, in school, the Internet should be used for educational purposes only. With access to computers and people all over the world comes the availability of material that may not be considered to be of educational value in the context of a school setting. For this reason, we do not allow students to have access to e-mail and chat rooms in school. In addition, our Internet access company provides us with monitoring programs which filter out unacceptable websites. The Internet resource room is always supervised by a member of the faculty.
